Sport Coach Training Opportunity

Are you the next Greenhouse Coach?
Are you aged between 16 and 24 with a passion for coaching sport and supporting young people?
Then why not get paid to train alongside our team of professional coaches and become part of the next generation of inspirational coaches.
The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry and Greenhouse have created a unique opportunity to work alongside professional Greenhouse coaches and train to be the next generation of inspirational sports coaches. You will work on coaching programmes based in London schools developing young people’s sport and life skills. Greenhouse Charity targets their work to those young people who need support the most.

To be eligible to apply for
the programme, you must:
• Be 16-24 years old
• Be able to start the programme
in September
• Be nominated by a suitable person,
such as a Coach or tutor
• Have shown commitment to sport
through playing and showing
leadership and role model qualities
or volunteering in sport
• Be available to complete paid
employment for 30 hours per week
for a year.

Want to get into Construction?

Are you aged 16-24 and interested in doing some training in construction?

You can get a level 1 City & Guilds Certificate in Basic Construction Skills at LifeSkills training centre in Peckham. You will be trained in bricklaying, plastering, carpentry, plumbing and painting & decorating. There is also the chance to get a CSCS card , improve ICT, Maths and English skills.

The best thing about LifeSkills is that over 75% of people who complete a LifeSkills go on to getting an apprenticeship. These apprenticeships are not advertised on websites such as apprenticeships.org.uk , they are only offered to LifeSkills participants. If you work hard and impress the trainers at LifeSkills, you could be on the fast-track to a career in construction.

Courses are free, travel expenses are paid and if you are 16-18 you can earn up to £350 pounds in bonuses.
